This neighbourhood contract pertained to an area right at the heart of city-centre Brussels. For this exercise in urban planning emphasis was laid on three aspects: housing, public areas and socio-economic projects. We came up with several proposals, in particular concerning public areas and commercial identity.

Consultations took place to deepen analysis and explain possible ideas to the people, associations and institutions in the study area. Our programme proposals highlighted sustainability with specific concern shown for the greening of the North-Midi axis, building insulation, implementation of alternative transport means and the creation of social links in the neighbourhood.
